Create issues from incidents.
Linear updates sync back.

Two-way integration. Create Linear issues from any incident, and status changes in Linear flow back to Runframe automatically via webhooks. OAuth setup, done in a minute.

How it works

Connect once. Issues and status updates flow both ways.

1

Connect your Linear workspace

Authorize Runframe via OAuth. Runframe reads your Linear teams and can receive webhook events so issue status changes sync back. No API keys to rotate.

2

Create issues from incidents

During or after an incident, click "Create Linear Issue" to turn an action item into a tracked issue. The issue links back to the incident.

3

Linear updates flow back automatically

When someone moves an issue in Linear, the webhook fires and Runframe updates the work item status. Backlog, In Progress, Done. No manual syncing.

What the integration does

Runframe creates issues. Linear tracks the work. Both stay in sync.

One-click issue creation

Create Linear issues directly from any incident. The issue includes incident context: what happened, which service was affected, and a link back to the incident in Runframe.

Two-way status sync

Runframe stores the Linear issue link and listens for webhook events. When an issue is updated, moved, or completed in Linear, Runframe receives the event and updates the work item status automatically.

Linked to the incident timeline

Every Linear issue created from an incident is logged on the timeline. When someone reviews the incident later, they see which follow-up work was created and where it stands.

Automate issue creation with workflows

Set up a workflow rule to create Linear issues automatically on any trigger: incident created, severity changed, SLA breached, incident resolved. Add conditions to control which incidents get issues. No manual clicks needed.

How it fits your workflow

Runframe handles the incident. Linear handles the follow-up.

Create

Issue created from Runframe

Pick the Linear team, priority, and due date while the incident context is still fresh.

Link

Linear URL stays on the incident

The issue link is logged on the timeline so responders and reviewers can find the follow-up work later.

Sync

Status changes flow back

When the issue moves in Linear, Runframe maps the state to todo, in progress, blocked, done, or cancelled.

Review

Post-incident work stays visible

Six months later, the incident record still shows which Linear issues were created and whether they closed.
