Create tickets from incidents.
Jira updates sync back.

Two-way integration. Create Jira tickets from any incident, and status changes in Jira flow back to Runframe automatically via webhooks. OAuth setup, done in a minute.

How it works

Connect once. Tickets and status updates flow both ways.

1

Connect your Jira Cloud account

Authorize Runframe via OAuth. Runframe automatically registers a webhook in your Jira site so status changes sync back. No API tokens to rotate.

2

Create tickets from incidents

During or after an incident, click "Create Jira Ticket" to turn an action item into a tracked issue. The ticket links back to the incident.

3

Jira updates flow back automatically

When someone transitions a ticket in Jira, the webhook fires and Runframe updates the work item status. To Do, In Progress, Done. No manual syncing.

What the integration does

Runframe creates tickets. Jira tracks the work. Both stay in sync.

One-click ticket creation

Create Jira issues directly from any incident. The ticket includes incident context: what happened, which service was affected, and a link back to the incident in Runframe.

Two-way status sync

Runframe registers a webhook in your Jira site during setup. When a ticket is updated, transitioned, or completed in Jira, Runframe receives the event and updates the work item status automatically.

Linked to the incident timeline

Every Jira ticket created from an incident is logged on the timeline. When someone reviews the incident later, they see which follow-up work was created and where it stands.

Automate ticket creation with workflows

Set up a workflow rule to create Jira tickets automatically on any trigger: incident created, severity changed, SLA breached, incident resolved. Add conditions to control which incidents get tickets. No manual clicks needed.

How it fits your workflow

Runframe handles the incident. Jira handles the follow-up.

What happensResult
Click "Create Jira Ticket" in RunframeTicket created in your Jira project
Ticket transitioned in JiraWork item status updated in Runframe
Ticket marked Done in JiraWork item shows as done on incident
Incident reviewed laterAll follow-up tickets and their statuses visible

Tickets stay linked to the originating incident. When you review an incident six months later, you can see every action item and whether it was completed.
