Linear
Two-way Linear integration. Create issues from incidents, and status changes in Linear sync back to Runframe automatically via webhooks.

Connecting Linear
- Navigate to Integrations Hub
- Click Connect next to Linear. You'll be redirected to Linear to authorize
- Grant Runframe access to create and read Linear issues
- Confirm the Linear card shows Connected
Creating a Linear issue from an incident
- Open an incident in the Runframe dashboard
- Click Create Linear Issue in the work items area
- Select the Linear team, priority, and due date
- Fill in the issue details
- The issue is created and linked to the incident
Status syncing
When a Linear issue status changes, Runframe is notified via webhook and updates the work item status in the incident view.

- Runframe record: The Linear issue link, team, priority, due date, and current status stay attached to the incident
Use with postmortems
After a postmortem, create Linear issues for each action item to ensure follow-through. Action items linked to Linear issues show their real-time status in the postmortem view.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |

| OAuth error during connection | Reconnect Linear from Integrations Hub and complete the authorization flow |
| Linear teams are not loading | Confirm Linear is connected and Runframe has workspace access |
| Issue creation fails | Check that you selected a Linear team and that the connected account can create issues |
| Issues not syncing | Contact Runframe support to confirm the Linear webhook is configured |
Removing the app
You can remove the Linear integration from Runframe at any time.
Remove Linear from Runframe
- Sign in to Runframe.
- Navigate to Organization then Integrations Hub.
- Find the Linear card.
- Click Configure.
- Click Disconnect.
- Confirm Disconnect.
- Confirm that the Linear card no longer shows Connected.
What happens after removal
- Runframe can no longer create new Linear issues from incidents or postmortems.
- Existing incident records and previously linked Linear issue URLs remain available for incident history.
- Linear issues that were already created are not deleted from Linear.
- Status updates from Linear stop syncing back to Runframe.
- You can reconnect Linear later from Integrations Hub.
